Every city has its own public spaces with great potential for the creation of a lively urban space, which can bring enormous value to residents, business owners and to the city itself. The 'Ha'ira' program, with the support of the Beracha Foundation, promotes urban sustainability through the development of public spaces. The development of the space with a holistic work approach takes place within the framework of community, environment and economy. The organizations and their staff work in full partnership with the municipality's employees and urban leaders. Together we are developing spaces that improve the quality of life of the residents and visitors, and implementing work processes to help the ongoing development of the city. https://haira.org/en/haira-homepage/ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KF4Wd3sh0nlcBmWR_Bp5WjXrTyrK1FjR/view - Short clip showing the promotion of urban sustainability in public spaces by Ha'ira in Nahariya, Arad and Kiryat Bialik
The Israeli Green Building Council (ILGBC) was established in early 2007 as a non-for-profit organization with the aim of creating change in the Israeli construction market and making green building the most prevalent construction standard. The chosen measure to realize a substantial shift in the market was to form partnerships between the entire range of actors involved, including industry, government, professional community, academia and NGOs. Since then, ILGBC has been providing the platform for all these organizations to join hands in promoting green building in Israel. In 2022-2023 the ILGBC intends to address challenges in the field of climate change and particularly urban cooling, as well as prepare for the growing role of green building in mitigation and adaptation to climate change. This includes the preparation of the construction ecosystem to introducing the compulsory green building regulation alongside the promotion of excellency, high-end solutions and innovation in the next phase of voluntary green building projects. https://ilgbc.org/about/about-ilgbc/
